Chime 2b (made with Synapse Audio Orion Jazz Piano style)

Track made by Victor Lams, here's what he wrote about it: "It should give a good glimpse into what the three Zvon BM2 libraries can do. All of the sounds (except the drums, which are BM2 stock) are from Chromatic Hits, Baby Piano, and Julie Resynth. This was done entirely in BM2. The only "cheat" is that the weird pad sound of the beginning is one of the samples from Chromatic Hits which I AudioCopied into Grain Science, then pasted back into BM2. Oh, and I "mastered" it after mixdown using the compression and EQ in MultitrackDAW."   Bell Jam

This is a subset of the Chromatic Hits found elsewhere on our website. The original set is available in the following formats: wav, sfz, Cakewalk Rapture and Native Instruments Kontakt 3. It has from 101 to over 200 instruments depending of the versions.

  Baby Piano for BeatMaker 2

The Baby Piano is a Chinese Toy Piano. I found it at a flea market and it obviously has seen better days. There are 2 keys missing, its casing is worn out and there are loose parts in it. The sound is not even from one key to another partly because the mechanism of some keys is damaged and it's also not in tune.

The set has 15 instruments, 4 made with the acoustic samples and 11 resynthesized from the acoustic samples. The wav files are included so they can be used in other apps too. For more info, view or download the PDF doc HEREBefore buying you can download and try the demo pack HERE. The demo has 5 instruments, 2 acoustic ones and 3 resynthesized.

This is a subset of the Baby Piano that is available in various other formats, including soundfont that can be used in Bismark bs-16i and Gestrument.

Julie Resynth mobile for BeatMaker 2, Thumbjam and soundfont

A fun cyborg vocal sample set, half human and half robot!

This pack is based on one-shot samples of the voice of Julie, a Montreal jazz singer. But here the samples are resynthesized to create new ones that are playable chromatically across the keyboard.

Electronic Square Wave Keyboard for Thumbjam

The hardware electronic keyboard sampled here is a digital square wave instrument. I don't know exactly how old it is but my guess is that it's at least 20 years old. It has 12 chromatic sounds: Piano, Saxophone, Pipe Organ, Guitar, Trumpet, Violin,   Harpsichord, Jazz Organ, Synth, Cowbell, Oboe, Clarinet.

There's a vibrato button that has no settings, it's either on or off. I've sampled the sounds with and without vibrato. Additionally, it has a bass and 5 percussion sounds: kick, conga, snare, cymbal and hi-hat.  All these do not sound like the acoustic instruments they're named after but more like the Sid chip, 80's and early 90's video games. They are very good  retro sounds for chip music (or chiptune).

The samples were recorded directly from the audio out of the keyboard at 16 bits/ 44.1 kHz. View or download the PDF for  ThumbjamBefore buying you can download and try the demo, it has 2 instruments:  DEMO.

Thumbjam version, $1.99 US :

Prepared EP mobile version (soundfont and wav files)

The sampled instrument is a real electric piano that was prepared as John Cage and others prepared an acoustic piano. That means inserting springs, plastic tubes, pins, all kinds of objects inside the piano. These objects when touching the strings or the tines change the sound of each key played. All the notes can be radically different from each other and often the original sound is not even recognizable. The result is an instrument that is much more percussive in nature.

The set includes a soundfont with 67 instruments and 79 samples in wav format. The demo set has a 16 instruments soundfont and 16 samples. View or download the PDF HERE.  Download the DEMO set.

  $1.99 US:

Video with examples using the bs-16i, Samplelab, Funkbox and Nanostudio.

The more extensive computer version (wav, different soundfonts, Native Instruments Battery 3 and Kontakt 3) is HERE. The mobile version is now included in the computer version
