sampled a bike toy
rattle that is
marketed as a “Motor
Bike Sound Effects
for Kids’ Bike”. It
is a sonic one-trick
pony that imitates a
motorcycle engine
revving up. Sound is
produced by twisting
its handle. I got
some variations by
twisting it at
different speeds and
for different
lengths of time.
Stretching and
transposing the
samples will make
them sound “larger”.
I have included
examples to
demonstrate this and
I encourage you to
