ZVON MARCHING BAND HORN FOR EVE:

This sample has a size of 178 MB (84 MB download divided in 4 parts). It was recorded at 16 bits, 44.1 Khz. There are 36 different waveforms and 19 of them also have an extra looped version for a total of 55 waveforms. The waveforms are taken from the 3 volumes for the Wusikstation but the extra looped ones are not included in the Wusikstation volumes and are exclusive to the EVE version.

A bank of 90 presets is included. Well-known sound designer Tim Conrardy made 40 and I made the other 50 presets.

Note that even if this library is quite extensive, it's not meant to compete with those great brass libraries that we love, but it certainly possess a unique quality and can be a great add on to them. If you don't have one yet,
it's certainly a good starting point to add brasses to your compositions without breaking the bank. This library covers many moods and many styles of playing.

Most patches are multisampled, a few are not and they give strange FX in the lower range of keyboard. They range from very smooth and mellow to hard hitting and growling, from staccatos and stabs to sustained pads. As some samples are time stretched, it's not necessarily meant to perfectly emulate the real instrument. But it is great for adding an authentic horn flavor and also providing a wider range of uses. No other processing was involved so what you hear is really acoustic, not electronic.
